Speaking at the Pan-African Youth Summit in Addis Ababa
On the AU's doorstep, Mika made the case that young Africans across the continent have rallied behind: one Africa, one passport.
In May 2022 Mika addressed the Pan-African Youth Summit in Addis Ababa, the city that hosts the African Union.
His argument: African unity is a practical project for this generation, and free movement under a common passport is where it starts. A continent that negotiates with the world as one gets better terms than 54 countries negotiating alone.
On the same trip he spoke at the University of Gondar and gave interviews on ETV. Ethiopian audiences have followed him closely ever since.
