Speaking

Mika speaks in English, Swahili and Korean, on national TV and university stages. The message stays the same in every room: Africa's future is a build, and everyone in the room is on the crew.

Signature talk

Pan-Africanism, live

Mika's speeches do what data alone cannot. They make a continent of 600 million young people feel like one room, and audiences leave with the argument for one Africa and one passport, plus the feeling that it is theirs to execute.

He has addressed the Pan-African Youth Summit in Addis Ababa, students at the University of Gondar, creators at Creators Day Tanzania, Korean public servants in Seoul, and national audiences on ETV, EATV and AMN.

What Mika speaks about

One Africa, One Passport

Reimagining a Borderless Continent

Mika advocates for the free movement of Africans across the continent through a common African passport. He explores how removing unnecessary barriers can unlock trade, innovation, investment, tourism, and cultural exchange. His message focuses on practical policies, political will, and the role of Africa's younger generation in making continental integration a reality.

A Free Mind Builds A Free Future

Why Freedom of Thought Is Africa's Greatest Competitive Advantage

Freedom of thought is one of Africa's most valuable yet underdeveloped resources. Mika explains how individuals, businesses, and nations flourish when people are free to ask difficult questions, challenge outdated ideas, innovate, and think independently. Sustainable transformation begins when people are empowered to think beyond inherited limitations.

The African Creator Economy

Building Wealth Through Digital Influence

Africa is experiencing a digital revolution. Mika teaches creators, entrepreneurs, and young professionals how to build audiences, monetize content, establish personal brands, and create sustainable businesses through platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and strategic brand partnerships. Drawing from his own experience of building a movement using nothing more than a smartphone, he demonstrates how digital media can become an engine for economic opportunity.

Bridging Generations

Experience Meets Innovation

Africa possesses two extraordinary assets: the wisdom of older generations and the creativity of its youth. Mika argues that neither generation can transform the continent alone. Lasting progress happens when experience and innovation work together. In an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, collaboration across generations is more important than ever.

Africa Seen From Outside

Lessons from South Korea's Transformation

After spending seven years in South Korea, Mika gained firsthand insight into how a nation devastated by war transformed itself into one of the world's leading economies within a single generation. He explores the lessons Africa can draw from this journey, particularly regarding education, discipline, national identity, innovation, language, and long-term thinking.

Decolonizing the Mind

The Transformation That Must Come Before Every Other Transformation

This is the message closest to Mika's heart.

Mika believes that Africa's greatest challenge is not a lack of resources, opportunities, or talent. Nor does he believe the continent's future is determined by external powers alone. Instead, he argues that the deepest obstacle to Africa's transformation lies in the way many Africans think about themselves, their identity, and their potential.

He describes this as “mind poverty” a condition in which people possess immense resources and abilities yet remain limited by inherited beliefs, dependency, fear, and a diminished view of what is possible.

For Mika, the decolonization of the mind is about reclaiming confidence, purpose, responsibility, and vision. It means recognizing Africa's strengths, embracing innovation, creating value locally, and believing that Africans can solve African challenges.

He teaches that when people understand their identity, discover their purpose, and develop a renewed mindset, they begin to transform their families, businesses, communities, and nations. In his view, true freedom is not merely political or economic — it begins in the mind.

His central message is simple

Africa's future will not be imported. Africans will build it.

And that future begins with the liberation of the African mind.
